If you have ever used one app to pay a bill, another to shop, a different one to book a trip and a chat thread to find a receipt, you already understand the problem Dmore is trying to solve.
Dmore brings those everyday money and service journeys together under one account. You can use it to manage eligible value, make payments, shop, keep records and, over time, explore carefully verified ownership experiences.
The short version is simple: Dmore is designed to help you live today with Dmore Points, then access more as your needs grow.
Start with Dmore Points
Dmore Points, usually called DMP, are the value used across supported Dmore services. Depending on the rules that apply to your account, you may be able to buy DMP with Naira, receive it, spend it or transfer eligible value.
Think of DMP as the connection between your account and the services you use. Instead of treating every payment, shop purchase or reward as a separate relationship, Dmore can keep the activity linked to you and your records.
The exact rules matter. Where your DMP came from and which wallet holds it can affect whether you can spend, send or withdraw it. The app should show those rules before you confirm an action. If a fee, limit or restriction is not clear, pause and check rather than guessing.
Your wallets can have different jobs
You may see Personal, Retail and Reward wallets in Dmore. They are not three names for exactly the same balance.
- Personal value is intended for general eligible activity.
- Retail value is intended to support shopping and other activity inside the Dmore ecosystem.
- Reward value comes from an approved incentive or referral and may have tighter spending, transfer or withdrawal rules.
That separation protects you from an unpleasant surprise. A reward should not look withdrawable if its terms only allow you to spend it inside Dmore. Before you move value, check which wallet it is coming from, what the action costs and what the recipient will receive.
Everyday usefulness comes first
You should not need to understand every part of Dmore before it becomes useful.
The familiar starting points are things such as:
- funding an eligible wallet;
- sending supported value;
- paying selected bills;
- checking your transaction history;
- shopping from participating sellers;
- receiving receipts and order updates;
- managing approved business activity.
Some Dmore experiences may still be in testing or waiting for their operational partners. A feature shown in a concept, screenshot or article is not automatically available to every customer. Check the live app and current Dmore notices for the services, fees and limits that apply to you.
Shopping stays connected to your account
When you buy something online, the payment, order, delivery update and receipt often end up in different places. Dmore’s commerce idea is to keep those parts connected.
For one purchase, you should be able to see:
- the seller you dealt with;
- the payment that funded the order;
- the delivery events;
- any return or refund;
- the receipt or warranty;
- the seller’s completed settlement where that information is relevant.
That does not mean buying a kettle should feel like applying for a mortgage. Everyday shopping should stay quick. Higher-trust categories should receive the extra checks they actually need.
Some categories need a different kind of care
Flights, accommodation, property and precious metals do not behave like ordinary products.
A flight depends on a route, traveller, date and fare rule. Land requires title checks, a survey, legal documents and a clear transfer process. Gold raises questions about purity, custody, insurance, allocation and how you can exit the arrangement.
Dmore’s longer-term direction is to give each category the process it deserves while keeping the resulting payment, booking or ownership record connected to your account. These are optional paths, not a promise that every customer needs to become an investor or property buyer.
That is what “Live today. Own tomorrow.” means here: useful everyday activity first, with more carefully managed possibilities available as you need them.
My Dmore keeps the history useful
One account should not mean one confusing timeline.
Your everyday order, trip, payment, support case and long-term ownership record may need different levels of detail. A receipt for headphones should be easy to find with your orders. A land document or metal custody record needs a more protected place with the evidence around it.
Keeping those records connected helps when something goes wrong. You can see what happened, what is pending, which party is responsible and which reference to give support. You do not have to rebuild the story from screenshots scattered across chats, email and banking apps.
What Dmore is not
Dmore should not be treated as a bank unless its approved legal operating model supports that description. DMP should not be presented as a guaranteed investment return. A property or precious-metals experience should not be treated as live until its legal, payment, custody and operational pieces are ready.
The common thread is not that every service looks the same. It is that your identity, eligible value, activity records and supporting evidence can stay connected while each service follows the rules appropriate to it.
The short version
Dmore is building one connected account for payments, shopping, travel and verified ownership experiences. DMP is the value that helps connect those journeys. Everyday usefulness comes first. More specialised services can follow when they are ready and properly supported.
As Dmore changes, this article should change with it. Always check the app and official Dmore notices for the features, fees and limits that currently apply.
